I’m Deanna. It’s nice to meet you. I’m the owner of Apples and Orange studio, and I want to change the world.

I infuse art into everyday life by replacing mass-produced products with unique handmade items. I am available for graphic design work and custom screen printing. Take a look around, then get in touch. I’d love to talk about how I can help you with your next project.

I am an artist and printmaker.

I strive to create goods and art people want in their homes. Things that make them happy. I want to inspire people to replace mass-produced items with things that are handmade and reusable. That’s how I want to change the world.

I hate throwing things away. Each time I do, I feel a little pang of guilt. This is why I create reusable home goods.

I design patterns inspired by nature.

Open air, blue skies, unique terrain, gorgeous plants and animals … This is the place I call home.

I am a wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

I love animals—especially their unabashed goofy-ness.

I consider myself a “late bloomer.”

I don’t like mean people.

I love chocolate (did I say love? I meant LOVE!).

I’ve always been good at math.

I love to bake. I once made a friends wedding cake. My coworkers ate the practice cakes. They got a lot of cake.

I remember strange and obscure details.

I live in a big city and I am inspired by the desert. The Sonoran Desert is magical place. The terrain is rugged and beautiful. The regal Saguaro cactus is something to behold.

I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon, Havasupai Canyon, Mt. Baldy, the Superstition Mountains, Sabino Canyon, and camped in countless places around Arizona.

The Mogollon Rim is one of my favorite places ever.

My creativity comes from my grandmother. She inspires me to fully honor my creativity and I miss her every single day.
